Music Stopping In Some Sound Systems

MESKate

Question

I cut music with Audacity for figure skating programs. They are complex program (and are usually big files). I use a lot of the "Duplicates" and "Generate Silence" options.

I export my music into a wave file before I burn it with Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator. Sometimes, my programs don't play, or stop playing in the middle. What could be the problem?

What program, in Easy CD and DVD Creator are you using, and are you burning it to a CD?

I am using "Audio CD" and am burning it on a CD.

What does this mean?

I use a lot of the "Duplicates" and "Generate Silence" options.

You use Audacity and export to a wav file? What format were the files before the export to wav?

Have you checked the CD for errors?

The "Duplicate" and "Generate Silence" are two options within the Audacity software. The first allows us to duplicate a certain section of a music (it makes this section louder). I use the second to start an additional section at a specific time.

BThe files are in ".aup" before I export them to a wav file.

I'm not sure how to check for CD errors...
