Convert To Mpeg4 File Stops At 99%

fportner

Question

Just downloaded 2012 regular version to my machine with Windows 7.

Created my movie and now want to convert to a file for sharing.

When I try this, converting to ipad format or just mpeg4 file type it goes through the motions like it is working and stops at 99% complete.

The program does not freeze, I can hit cancel and it goes to the previous window.

Really frustrating after spending the money for the new version.

It did not complete, the file says that it is in use by another program.

I think I have an encoding problem.

Spent an hour making sure that I had all the current drivers on the machine and I think I'm good.

I wish the program had a feature that would run a check.

I did spend a few hours getting the movie together to send as an invitation, but I guess I will just send an email.

Any help or suggestions would be great!

Thanks for all your help.

I took a .ts file that was 4.2 gb and tried converting to both an iPad and mpeg 4 and both completed successfully.

Would you mind giving us a little more detail on how the original file was created and the steps you took? I will then try to duplicate what you did to see what happens.

How long did you wait after the conversion went to 99%; somtimes it takes awhile to go to 100% --- several minutes (from Creator 2011 experience).
