If you have your PS3/360 set at 1080p. The capture device will not read it and you will see a black screen.

Im getting really fed up of this now. Think i am going to send it back. The quality is rubbish, and when i open the videos in edit and share, They blur even more! i am running my xbox at 1080p and even at 720 it is the same. Does anybody know how to help me?

Roxio does not record in HD

The reason the quality is so bad in edit + share is because the software only plays it in half resolution while editing , so it doesnt freeze up and so you can play the video back smoothly , a decent graphics card would fix that problem .

 

Have you tried playing your recorded videos in media player , whats the quality like then .
