Win 7 32 Bit - User Defined Breakpoint

dr_heckyl

Question

Howdy

I have Win 7 32 bit.

I have installed the software and rebooted. When I try to launch it, i get "Roxio Easy VHS to DVD has encountered a user-defined breakpoint".

I am running the software as administrator.

I have repaired the install several times. It actually worked once I was able to register it, but it is doing it again.

Ideas?

First I have ever heard of it, but searching reveals that the error message has been around for years :o

Best thing I can think of is to use the Revo uninstaller, in Moderate mode, to remove V2D.

Then do the Prep Steps to the letter!

And lastly, install V2D again.

I am hoping this will clear up and repair or replace whatever is getting in the way... ;)

Hello, i'm getting the exact message after installing (uninstall/re-install) except I don't get the debug option. Your link for "Prep Steps" didn't give me any help. Couldn't find "Prep Steps". Any recommendation?

Note the DATE of the postings???

These were here Before your version was even written  Makes sense that a solution would not apply to you ;)
