Add Transition To A Selected Group Of Slides

CostasCal

Question

I have 2011 Creator Pro , and I use Videowave to create a slide show video.

I have added about 100 pictures in this video file.

I applied "auto motion" to all the slides, by selecting all side using Shift key and selecting all slides.

Then I want to add a different transition for every 10 slides. I sellect 10 slides with Shift key. A windows pops-up to tell me where to add the transition. But it does not give me the option to select a group of slides. ... A night before i could not do this and after few tries it worked... Now I try and it does not work again..

Question 1. How can I add a transition to a group of the selected slides?

Qestion 2. How can I add a group of 4-5 different transitions to apply to all slides in the file (timetable), so that they can be applied randomly?

Thanks

This works in the new C2012 and may also work in C2011 (I believe this feature did not work in earlier versions: it was either all or only one)

For questions #1:

Select 10 slides (the transitions between slides also get selected) using the Shift key and make sure that the selection ends with a transition. Then select "Add transition" and select a transition from the select window. You should next get another window (Add Transition) where you select "Add/replace transition within selection". This should set the selected transition between the selected slides.

I don't understand question #2

With reference to question 1:

I selected 10 slides by: selecting the first slide that i like to add a transition then I hold down the Shift Key and click the 10nth slide.

Then I select "Add Transition".

A window comes up that gives me 3 choises

-Add/replace transition before current slide

-Add/replase transition after current slide

-Add/replace tansition between all panels in production

It did not give me the option: "Add/replace transition within selection"

I know how to select multiple files in windows with the Shift-Key.

The selection of a group or slides works OK when I add auto-motion.... but not when I add a Transition.

I also mentioned that you have to include the transition after the 10th slide. If I don't then I only get the options that you listed. Also I said it works that way in C2012 and I don't know if it works in C2011. Perhaps some other user running C2011 can try it also.
