Re; Latest version - what build number do you have. Open PhotoShow and select help. It should be around 830 or so.

Are you working from the "C" drive and not the "D" drive? Can you move the images from 'D" (if that is where they are) to 'C"? and upload from there? I don't know if the "D" drive has any effect.

Have you checked to see if all the files are PhotoShow compatible?

Have you tried to upload the images to the on-line PhotoShow to see if it chokes on any of the images? Just upload the folder where they are. The program will tell you if there is a problem with them. If you have a DSL line, then it shouldn't take too long.

You might consider creating the PhotoShow on-line and once it is done, you can download it back to your computer to burn to a DVD. You do not have to use the on-line conversion to mp4 to download.

Do you have IE 9 or IE 8 or earlier? I never liked IE9 because of download issues. As for how to change the Browser, I don't know other than to see if you can make Chrome the default. I don't thik that would work anyway.

I have version 6.0.0 Build 857.

The photoshows are on "C" drive. I just tried to upload to online from "D", but same results...error code 403.

I tried to upolad images to online photoshow, but I guess I don't havae premium because it says only 24 can be uploaded (mine has 275). I've been able to upload larger ones in the past with no problems.

I have burned photoshow to a DVD so no big deal, just nice to be able to email link to friends.

I have been using IE8 but just downloaded IE9. Same issues. I have made both Chrome and Mozilla my default. Same results.

Must be some setting on my computer, just can't figure out which one since I've disabled my Norton for that period.

Thanks for your suggestions.

There is an option in "share photoshow" to upload to online acct. and email. Yes I did update my IE and did make a DVD with no changes. Any other suggestions. I have had this problem for years and have almost given up except that I can make a DVD. Should be able to post online and invite others to view or email as program says. Thanks.

Get a refund! Show them this thread to prove a long time problem. If you can made a DVD, then the program is working correctly and the problem is the web site. Another users claimed that an older version of PhotoShow work for him. It was a recent post. Perhaps you can send him a private message to see what he is now getting. BTW, you should still be able to use the program and make DVDs

How do you e-mail a Photoshow - to where? Does your provider allow PhotoShows of that size?

As for 403 do you still get that? Do you get it for both the upload and the e-mail? You werre able to make a DVD with that PhotoShow with NO changes?

Windows 7 was recently updated to include IE 10. Did you accept that update?

For those of you encountering "Error 403" when uploading a completed Roxio Photoshow even though you have uploaded other completed photoshows successfully. Several people have pointed out that the problem can be due to the use of mp3 music for which you do not own the rights. However, no one has noted that you also cannot use photos in your photoshow for which you don't own the rights.

For example, if you include even one jpeg image in your photoshow that you downloaded from the Internet (even if it is claimed to be available for unrestricted use) this will probably prevent successful upload. Try deleting any such downloaded images and your upload will probably be successful.

What is the source of that information or is from Experience? I never tried it but I will.

Edit: I tried it with a downloaded web image and it worked. Is there any specific type of image that will not work? Please post a link to one that I can try.

I signed in and do have premium for another year+. Tried to do another photoshow on the online acct but it wouldn't let me upload more than 24 pix.

Sorry about answering the questions but at the time it appeared to be the music. Here are the answers and my dxdiag file that might be useful.

Yes this is same problem that I had (and gave up on) last year.

This photoshow is about 20 minutes long with 275 jpeg pictures. No borders or captions. Style used was pan/zoom simple style

I have uploaded early in the morning and at different times during the day with same error results

I have full membership with new disk backup

I have Roxio Creator 2011 and full Photoshow

I have latest version of Photoshow.

Thanks again for any help.DxDiag-9-26-11.txt

Re-read my post #3 and answer the rest of the questions even though you think they are not important.

I was wrong. It isn't the music causing the problem with uploading to my member page online. I redid the photoshow using the music provided by the program and got same results. Uploads 99% and then gives the error code 403. I've disabled my Norton antivirus and marked Roxio.com as a "trusted" site. Some other setting must be wrong on my computer. Can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for reply. I guess it is the mp3s that are causing the issue. I have latest full version of Roxio creator and have had no problem with other photoshows being uploaded.

Have Creator 2011. I received error 403 when uploading photoshow when 99% complete. Have uploaded other shows sucessfully. Help ticket response said to use browser other than IE. I have Google Chrome, but how do I specify which to use and will it make a difference? Thanks

Same error as you had in November? 403 is a permissions error.

In that case, it seemed that a mp3 file was the cause. Is this the same PhotoShow? Are you still using mp3 files that are from ITunes or similar. They won't work. You have to own the mp3 files rather than rent them. Itunes has two levels, essentially a rental and a purchase. Anything directly from ITunes seem to give problems.

How long is the PhotoShow (time), are you using any video? Are all you pieces of music mp3 that you own or that are included in PhotoShow? Are you adding borders, titles, captions? What theme are you using. Did you try to upload during a peak time with high internet traffic?

Do you have the full PhotoShow membership? Have you tried to update version 6 of PhotoShow to the latest version by going to your account page? Just reinstall over what you have.

Do you have several Roxio products? It seems like you have indicated that you do. Are they all still on your computer?

Sorry but I don't understand what you are doing. What do you mean by "uploading photoshow"? Uploading to where from where? What do you mean by photoshow?

Please give us some information to work with
