Laggy Video And Audio

Hi i just received my roxio today after school and i hooked everything up and downloaded the program and everything. I was doing a capture test and when i was done, i watched it and the video skips and the audio skips and is not right with the actions in the video. Please help? Thanks so much!

Loll ummm windows vista , intel core duo 2 um if you could tell me how to get the other stuff i will lol

Try recording in AVI see if that fixes the problem .

I do... But still lags! And i switched the video type to others and frames skip now and i dont get my audio good... Help?
