Game Capture Lags

Question

Ok. so far since I bought this "lovely" device some people refer to as a roxio game capture all it does is lag. I have complained several times on the customer support part and have gotten nothing done successfully. It might be my computer but I don't know so can someone please tell me if it is. thanks

Problems & Suggestions:

Problem At least 85 Hz vertical refresh rate is recommended for classic (CRT) displays.

Also my processor is 2.1 ghz and i have 4 gbs of ram.

Hey

 

Your specs are generally pretty good compared to what we have listed: http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/game-capture/console/system-requirements.html

 

However, make sure that you have fewe background processes going on while capturing. Since you are just over 3 Hz of speed, some background processes can really suck up your capabilities.

 

Go to Start > and type "Msconfig" and see what's in your start up tab. Take not what is checked and uncheck it. Then reboot and and try to capture to see if it helps.
