I am having the EXACT same issue.

There is no specific error code, just says "Video Wave is not working" and then shuts down the burn.

This happens after I have created my movie and I am in the burn process. It usually happens when the burn is at 97% complete. The program shuts down and does not burn any information to the DVD.

I have been able to complete 2 discs, but have been shut down 9 times.

Tell us about your computer:

Your computer specifications have a huge impact on software performance and functionality.

•Operating System (including service packs): Windows 7, Service Pack 1

•Make: HP

•Model: HP Pro 3000

•Video card Don't know

•Processor speed: 2.84

•RAM: 2 GB

•Free hard drive space: 1.87 GB

•I last did an operating system update on: Tuesday, October 4th

1.87 GB is far too low a value for any successful rendering

From system requirements

Hard drive with at least 3GB free space for the installation process. DVD and BD copy, video editing and authoring may require large amount of free disk space, up to 10's of GB

I guess kateh has the exact same computer as roxu? If it is the exact same problem, then it must be the exact same computer, software laoding, etc.

You must have the exact same OS. aslo.

BTW, did you do a bios update since you said you updated trhe computer a couple of days ago? How did you update the video card/chip if you don't know what it is?

Don't skimp on providing us infomration. This is not 20 questions (old TV show). Answer these questions (link)

kateh: Of course it is always BEST to start your own topic rather than crowd your way into someone else’s ;)

Yes it low on resources, RAM & Free HDD SPACE but it should not crash!

I run 2012 on that 8300 in my sig, which is similar but I do have 200+ GB of free space on my HDD’s.

Graphic Card could be a hang-up <_<

Several are available depending you the specific model:

However, if you have the integrated chip, it borrows from your system RAM to work and could be the problem… Easy to check, Win-Pause then look in Device Manager:

At this point I would do the Prep Steps to the letter!

Then start the install of the Suite, only pick Repair when it is offered.
