Hanging and crashing to memory Dump

Am using creator 2012 Pro on Vista Business.

When performing a audio rip to MP3 I have issues stopping the program when a bad audio track causes the burner to stop reading.

When the project is cancelled I receive the message “The project has been cancelled, Please Wait”

This is when the program will just hang for ages (1 hour+ if I am prepared to wait) or crashes to the blue screen memory dump (which required me to re-type this) which occurred after 10-15 minutes.

Any suggestions. I had up-graded from 2010 as this was also occurring in this version.

It would seem your problem is not in the Program

 

If it fails on 2 completly different versions, the problem is likely elsewhere...

 

Does it do it with every CD you try or just one?

 

Which specific program in the Suite are you using?

 

Have you tried using other programs?

Did you remove Creator 2010 before installing Creator 2012?

OS is Windows VIsta Busines

Roxio version Creator 2012 Pro.

 

Issues are on different CD's (Audio Story books which may have up to 12 disks). Sudject to a bad read on one of the audio files whic stops reading file. Does not happen on every CD if no read errors are present on CD's. also have had a full set go thropugh without any issues.

Progran used is "RIP" to convert from CD to MP3 format to HD for later transfer to MP3 player.

The problem is when attempting to cancel operation that the computer hangs or performs a memory dump reboot.

Have not attempted to try another program. Tempted to can Roxio after using numerous versions for over 15 years for Nero

Not sure on removal of ver 2010 but i think i did a full removal based on no reference to ver 2010 in my installed program files.

i believe that i would have performed a registry cleanup as well after removal as is my normal practice.

Vista business is a odd duck! I would call Roxio and ask if C2012 Pro is supported on Vista business, that could be the problem with both Suites.
