I am working on a photoshow and uploaded four songs for the show. One of the four songs played in prior versions and now will not play at all anywhere I load it. Can someone help?

Change format. That music file may have become corrupt; it happens. Are you getting the music form ITunes or similar?

I've used music from Amazon in the past and had good luck. You might try to download it again. It may have been corrupted. Are you using an ITunes folder to store the music on your computer? If so, don't.

I assume that you have been able to play the music with a program on your computer. That would be a first but not definitive test. If it is corrupted it may play properly but not upload properly.

Did you do anyhting with the music file once you did download it? Is it showing up in the list of "Your Music"?

Thanks for you help. The music is in My Music file on my computer and no iTunes. It plays on my computer and when I upload it into my photoshow it shows the music is there but the music will not play. All of the other songs from my music file do play.

Right clcik on that music file in Windows folders get the kbs. Try another that works. What is the difference?

Sometimes the program just acts funny and there is no recourse except to use a different piece of music or to start from scratch.

You can contact PhotoSHow support on Monday.

The music that will not play is 204 kbs another song that does work is 246 kbs and the others 256 kbs. how can I correct the 204 kbs

That depends on the audio programs on your computer.

I checked all my mp3 files from Amazon which all work and they are in the 246 to 256 range. I'm not convinced that it is THE problem though.

Have you tried re-downloading the file from Amazon or at least look at what the mp3 properties are supposed to be? You should not have to pay for it again. Do you have your computer files backed up?

I did download it again today and it came in at 204 kbs again. Funny that it worked for a while and then just stopped. I was using photo show version 5 and then downloaded version 6 because version 5 did not give me the option to burn to a cd or flash for use and I had to. When I emailed the version 6 it worked When I edited it by adding photos it stopped working - same song.. weird
