Maximum Frame Rate Supported In Video Editor?

timo888

Question

My video camera supports 720p @ 60fps, and it produces MP4 files. I use this resolution and frame rate for shooting moving action, like a soccer game. Can MP4s shot at 720p/60fps be edited in Roxio Creator 2012 or Roxio Video Lab? Would the files have to be converted to MPEG2 first?

Thanks

Yes. It will take the mp4 files. I assume that you have a memory stick/disc type camcorder. All you would do is to copy the files to your computer and add the files to the "Edit Video-Advanced (Video Wave) application in Creator 2012 for editing. I believe that Video Lab HD would work also but I have never tried it.

What camcorder? I ask because in some cases, some camcorders producte non-standard files which can be converted using a free application.

What will you be doing with the files after editing?

Note that if you but the program fromn the Roxio on-line store, you have 30 days to get your money back should it not work for you.
