mu-tron-kid
I have 3 identical Mac Pro's with Mac OS 10.6.8 and TOAST 10.0.8. We burn Stereo 16 bit / 44.1k Wave Files using Toast, running at 16x - 24x burn speeds, using Tayo Yuden CD-R's for the past 15 years... It seems about 50/50 that a CD will have a "click" at the very end of the CD after burning. Burning again sometimes resolves the issue, but sometimes not.... Any ideas? tsantee
I haven't any clue. I'm guessing the noise is added just as Toast enters the writing lead-out stage. Maybe it will help to burn at 8X. The traditional recommendation is to always burn audio-CDs at the slowest possible speed.
