Cannot Get Cineplayer To Play Dvd

smbranch

Question

I cannot get Cineplayer to start playing a DVD. I read thru your forum and could not find my problem. I am using a purchased DVD. I bring up Cineplayer, but nothing happens. Cineplayer find the DVD and my drive (E:) is not recognized.

Reading your forum, someone recomemnded VLC Media Player as being better. Since I have VLC Media Player, I tried it. It had no problems playing my DVD, so it does not appaer the problem is with my machine or Windows XP.

What's wrong with Cineplayer? Why can't it find my DVD? I checked and there are no updates that I have not installed. I have Creator 2011.

Are all your drives missing in other Roxio applications?

If so download, unzip, then run (EMC 7.5 Up PX Engine 4.18.16a. Update #7 in my signature) and reboot your PC.
