Join Mts Files Without Encoding

I have been looking at options to join individual Panasonic HD camcorder files (MTS/M2TS) together without having to run a lengthy encoding process and without losing any HD quality. I have been trialling Aunsoft Final Mate and this does the job nicely. Was wondering whether 2012 has any simialr capabilities. I stopped buying Roxio at version 2010 as the HD support seemed to come up short of other tools. I'm hoping 2012 addresses this issue.

No it does not, nor would I have any use for $50 software that can only merge files together Then I also shoot MXP format files so I would need to buy yet another program ($35) just to do those

 

Then what? If you want to edit anything or produce a disc, you still need an Authoring program, which can merge files, so there is a very, very limited market for such an expensive software hot out of China
