Download Problems

fgeri2

Question

I bought the Creator 2012, but when I open the Download Manager it says there is nothing to download. Since I have already paid for this, I would like some detailed instructions to help me out. I need to burn some DVD's today and need the software. I bought the download version and the back up CD, but can't wait for the CD to arrive. Thanks.

Hi Digital Guru: I had already tried the above. So I decided to call and found out the reason why I am not getting anything to download is because my order is still in process. I had not rec'd the confirmation email yet. I thought it was automatic, the credit card approval, etc. I am just mentioning this here in case anyone else does something so silly.

After I get my e-mail confirmation, I will get back to you if I have any problems. The tech on the phone told me it could take an hr to get the confirmation.

Thanks again for the help!

Well it didn't work, I called tech support but they can't help me until tomorrow during business hours, which of course are my business hours, so I won't be able to trouble shoot this - I will have to wait for my CD to come in the mail. I am very unhappy with Roxio right now!

What didn't work?

Exactly what are you trying to burn? Perhaps you already have the software on your system to do what you want. Maybe someone here can help

Did you look in the Download folder under C:/Users/(your user name)/Downloads.?

I got so frustrated with this Roxio deal, paying for a program that I can't seem to use, that I downloaded a different program, DVD clone and was able to finish the job that I needed to do. Hopefully when I get my CD in the mail I can properly install Roxio Creator 12. To answer your question, I had made my own DVD of a slide show with photos and videos and needed to make additional copies for the family. I didn't want to go thru making the DVD again, just copying the one original I had burned within the movie program. Thanks for your interest

The downloaded file is in my download foler. However, when it opens, the Roxio download file manager and you click on it, it says there is nothing to download. (the download button within the downloaded file)

There are all sorts of ways to make copies of a burned DVD for which you do not ned C2012 at all and many of those programs are free.

I don't understand why you are upset with Roxio. You set yourself a deadline and then because Roxio doesn't fit within those dealine limits you blame Roxio?
