sknis
I was cleaning up temporary datasets, deleted mu.msi. now I can not get rid of update manager or restore it. msi is a Microsoft Installer Application. mu could be anything. Anything here help? Since you have a very old version of the product, there will be no updates so I would suggest that you remove update manager using Windows Add/Remove programs. If another program needs to be updated, you can check manually or the program itself will load an update manager.
Brendon
It's not mu.msi, it's UM.MSI, and it will be found in the folder UPDATEMANAGER_MSI on your installation disc. Where did you delete it from? It's an installer file and doesn't get transferred to your hard drive when you install.
