Cannot Successfully Install Toast 11 Pro

I have used all previous versions of Toast successfully (with occasional exceptions). Version 11 Pro will not successfully install on MacPro running OS 10.6.8. Folder is created, but computer hangs on "Calculating Size". Cannot access any files - folder is unreadable. Have tried installing directly from DVD, also transferring disc image to Mac and installing from there. Same issue. Please help!

Download the Toast 11.0.4 update from Roxio's Software Updates page and install it. It has everything from the standard version. I don't have the DVD installer but I'm hopeful the Blu-ray plugin and third-party apps that are part of the Pro version will still install from the disc.

I have purchased Toast 11 Pro physical DVD... won't work. Disk Image corrupt is the error I get. I have pulled file directly to desktop and tried that as well.

 

Any suggestions? Customer support so far has not been especially helpful.

If you cannot mount the Toast 11 Pro DVD then you need to get a replacement because that is defective. There are some things that can be installed without the DVD such as everything that's in the Toast 11 standard installation and I think Adobe Photoshop Elements and possible others. But there are some things that require the version the installer that part of of Pro version.

I downloaded and reinstalled lion. Now everything is OK, toast loaded without issue, then updated and loaded fine again. I do not know what I changed but reloading was the answer. Reloading the operating system corrected my mistake.
