No Sound

I go onto the software which came on the disc and i have noticed that there is no audio button to either mute it or to mute it, due to not having that button i also cannot seem to here any sound in my recordings, i have plugged all of the cables in as instructed but still nothing, can anyone give me a solution?

Interestingly enough, I am having the same problem except that I transferred 5 Hi8 directly to DVD using the cables. Then when I tried to transfer the 6th video to DVD, Roxio is using the computer's internal microphone and picking up all the sound in the room instead of that which is on the DVD.

 

I can't figure it out.

Disable the microphone.

 

Actually you do not have the same problem at all as the origial poster.
