Cannot Install Creator Pro 2012

Can anyone help. I have had few sensible suggestions from Roxio Support. Like others the installation is interrupted half way through. I am installing from DVD. It seems to stop in "back on track". I am reluctant to uninstall the previous version as suggested by Roxio support as if 2012 does not install I will be without the video editing software I always use.

Says your running Vista what service pack?

 

I see Easy Media Creator (but can't tell the version #)?

 

I see Roxio Creator 2010 Pro.

 

What other Roxio products are hid under that screen cap?

The InstallFinalize custom action for BACKONTRACK failed. Have you tried copying the files to local hard drive and turning off AV during installation?

I have now tried excluding BACKONTRACK from the install and this has now worked (obviously without BACK ON TRACK but I am not worried about that) so problem solved thanks.

I am having the EXACT same problem on my Win 7 machine.

 

How did you exclude BackOnTrack from the install process? I am not seeing a "custom" install option where I can select which programs install...
