No Signal

I've run through the tutorial, and done what it has said and im all hooked up but when i try playing in 1080i with the component on HDTV, I have a blank black screen yet still have audio. it appears on 720p, but the picture quality is quite soft and blurry. I have set roxio to PAL-60 and ive tried all other PAL settings, but still no luck. any ideas on how this can work?

Xbox 360:-

1080i

HDTV component cable

 

Roxio:-

no signal
