I Cant Get The Roxio To Work On Older Tv

Hi,

 

I have looked on many videos on youtube and I am still confused, I found one video where I can use a 3 RCA PHONO FEMALE SOCKET COUPLER EXTENSION ADAPTER

and I DO have the component cables

 

So does this mean that the component cables goes into your xbox and the HD audio and video goes into the INPUT of the roxio game capture from the component cables?

 

So the double ended cable that comes with the roxio game caputure card, it dosent have a yellow socket which is what this video is telling me to do because it is only HD there is no yellow cable? so how does it plug into the adapter?

No because the component cable only has 1 yellow wire? and the video shows 2 yellow wires? the double ended cable does not have a yellow wire the only other yellow wire I have the the basic component cable that comes with the xbox

Starting at 1.00 minute the Xbox cable he shows hooking up the audio 'Red/White' and leaving the yellow video hang for now.

 

Then he shows the audio 'Red/White' and yellow coming from the TV and leaving the yellow video hang, then connects the two yellows with the dollar store adapter.
