Top Of Screen Repeated At Bottom

I am receiving a signal from my Xbox and it is displaying the full screen. However, at the bottom the top of the screen is repeated. I have changed the settings on the Xbox to normal at 480p. I have also tried 1080i but then have received no signal from the Xbox on the laptop. Has any one any ideas on how this problem may be fixed.

make sure all the cables are in correctly and attempt 1080i again

Thanks for the advice guys, but no luck. There is not a problem with the screen being blurry. 1080i repeats the top of the screen about 5 times. 480p works best and even then repeats the top of the screen below the screen capture.

 

Anyone other suggestions?
