Sounds like maybe the drivers didn't load correctly.

If you look in Device Manager do you see 2 entries under Sound that say Roxio?

Ok so if you see 2 entries in Device Manager and neither has a warning indicator (yellow exclamation) then the drivers should be ok.

When you open the software under Source at the top of the box does it say anything? Can you hit the dropdown and are there any choices?I would think maybe not with the message you get.

I'd try a repair on the software first off.Go to Control Panel,Programs and hit Uninstall/Change for Roxio Game Capture. When the box comes up hit repair.

After that try again.

EDITI just saw another post a couple down and the last person posting has the same computer as you do.

Try either going to Sony's site or to ATI itself and seeing about new drivers for your video chipset.

I believe this is the page you'd need.
