Burning To 2 Cd Burners

E Dressel

Question

We are currently using Roxio Creator Starter 12.1.0 that came with the computer.

I have a new Winodws 7 machine that I would like to burn to 2 burners at the same time. If I purchase Creator 2012, is this possible?

Also, when doing multiple CDs, it would be nice if process would start as soon as the CD is close rather than having to press the "Continue" button. Can this happen with Creator 2012?

In answer to your first question, yes, you can burn to as many burners at the same times as you have.

As to your second question; I don't think so. You can always ask Roxio to include that in the next version. wink.gif

ALL version can burn to multiple burners...

This is but one example of the Burn Screen:

No, always had the 'Continue' button :(

With multi burners, keep in mind that the entire process slows down to the slowest burner. In some cases it is actually faster to burn with one burner

Having the CD start burning as soon as the drawer is closed was in some software I used hears ago (I thought it was a Roxio product, but I may be wrong)--it made the process more efficient. Is this something that can be added in the future?

The software is capable of burning simultaneously to multiple burners. It could not do that if each burner is going to start trying to burn independently the moment its drawer is closed.

I can't see the design team making such a radical change and removing the useful simultaneous burning ability, just to save the user from clicking an "OK" button in the burn dialog.
