Video Trimmer Has No Accompanying Sound

I have recently upgraded to roxio creator 2012 from 2009 version.the video trim function allows me to see the movie files but not to hear any accompanying audio. my source files are m-peg 2. can anyone help? The sound is fine in the preview and main view screens.

I hear the audio OK in the Trim Window???

 

I would make 110% sure that you have your Video Card driver & software up to date!

Other than that about all you can try is a repair:

 

Do the Prep Steps to the letter!

 

Then start the install of the Suite, only pick Repair when it is offered.
