Hd Recording On A None Hd Channel ?

I'm setig up my roxio game capture ad i have a yellow cable that i have o idea to put and the is no slot on the game capture also i do not know what channel to choze out of the channels i have because i dount know which channel the xbox's images are being sent to ...?

i have finally sorted out the computer software for the game capture but i have hit another problem with the tv i have an etra male pat on a phono cable conneting my xbox to my game cap but it doesn't have a slot for it's selve and now i connot find a channel my xbox works on while the cable run though my xbox ... So it got me wondering if i can get it working on a none Hd channel will it still record it in hd ???? surgestions plz ....

Sounds like you hooked up wrong.

The component cable from the Roxio unit to your TV plugs into the Component input jacks.
