Question About The Software.

neilofawsomes

Question

Alright, my computer decides to not read cds or dvds I'm not sure which one and right now I don't want to worry about it. I emailed the support people and they said I need the software to use the game capture thing. If I install the program onto another computer and then use a memory stick to transfer it to my main computer, will the device work?

I had a dazzle and on their disk they had it so you have to install drivers for the capture device seperate to the editing software. Is it the same?

All bets are off. If your computer is screwed up, I would not trust it to run the program correctly. Fix it first.

No, my computer runs fine. It's just my cd drive or whatever.

Do this. Open Windows Device manager and scrool down to your optical disc (cd/DVD drives) . Right click on it and uninstall it. Reboot and try that device again.

If it still doesn't work, then there IS a problem with your computer.

Stop asking the same question. I answered it before and you did not reply so it now looks like you are trying to do something a little questionable. angry.gif

Yes you answered my question but I have another one. Will it work if I just transfer it? Are the drivers separate from the software and if it is can I transfer the drivers? I don't know how drivers work. I'm sorry if I have frustrated you.
