Editing Videos Issue

Gambit is EviL

Question

So I am using Creator HD 2012 Plus that I just purchased yesterday. And was curious as to what format I need to save in to be able to upload to youtube for the best quality. For some reason the actual upload straight to youtube feature wasn't working when I tried it. Now when I use the drop down to formats I know that AVI works best but there is like 15 different formats for AVI so I didn't know if anyone knew the best one. Also does anyone know if I need to edit the video as 16:9 screen format or 4:3?

Try mp4 for upload. Use the You Tube uploader and remember to observe the file size and length.

The 16 by 9 or 4 by 3 should depend on what you are using for your project. If you want 16 by 9, then you must select that as a new project when you open Edit Video -Advanced. It cannot be changed later.

Sorry, I accidentally hit topic solved which hides the topic when there is only one post. I hope I can get it back

Try mp4 for upload.

Yeah I have tried that however when I record my gameplay's with the software for my capture card and it saves them as mp4's it doesn't allow me to do anything with it after that almost like it isn't saving it right. So I have to save them as M2TS but I figured that didn't have anything to do with it because I can upload the raw vids straight to youtube as M2TS files and have no issues.
