.mkv Blueray File Crashes Toast 11

zimm17

Question

I've installed the blue ray plug in and I'm running Toast 11.0.4 with Lion 10.7.2

I burned an .mp4 blue ray movie okay, although it took two days to encode.

I'm now trying to burn a movie in .mkv format- when I click "burn" the screen shrinks down to "processing" then toast crashes and gives me a crash report.

Any ideas?

As I recall that was a problem with earlier versions of Toast 11 that was fixed in Toast 11.0.4. Apparently it is still a problem with certain mkv videos. It may help to trash the Toast plist and prefs files in your user>Library>Preferences folder as they may have become corrupted due to the crash. Since the crash happens at the start you can see if editing out a small part of the start of the video will make any difference. Click the Edit button next to the video's title to access Toast non-destructive editor.
