Audio At The Beginning Of A Movie

DonaldK

Question

Hello,

I've edited and created a video in video wave. I then used the send to mydvd button to burn a dvd. When I preview the production, there is an automatic soundtrack played at the beginning. How do I remove this and use a sound track of my own?

Also, when I click on add background audio, a message appears that I must install Apple's Quicktime 7.04 or higher installed. It wants me to download it and then install it. Is this something that needs to be done to use the add background audio button?

As a newbie, I really appreciate all of the support from this forum.

Thanks for all of your help.

First, did you say you have a menu? If so, you can just right click on the menu screen and remove the audio. You can then add your own wav file BUT it must not be DRM protected.

You can also select to no have a menu so you won't get that page. The video will start when you put the disc in the drive and repeat at the end. In Create DVD after you selected @D DVD, go to File then new project and select no menu

Now you can add that saved project as a movie.

Here is a tutorial video on how to create your own menu should you chose to make one.

No, you were correct in saying that I didn't have a menu. I just got the software and I'm learning from scratch. I work in IT, so some of the software is intuitive, but some is also very criptic. I briefly looked at your tutorial video and that should probably help me get started.

Thanks again.
