Capture?

Seems to be a problem here I have pinnacle studio v15, windows movie maker, cyberlink powerdirector v10 (trial ver) running windows 7 64 bit and the only way i can capture is with roxio to hard drive then open another program then edit the movie. In WMM device shows up as web cam.

Is there an easier way to capture? I would like to run V2D in a differant program and editfrom that point. Thank-You

You bought the Roxio program. With it came the capture device. You have been able to capture your video, with the capture program and the Roxio capture device? That's the intent of the program and the capture device. How could it be easier?

 

Once you have it captured to your hard drive, edit it with any program that you want.

I don't understand. VHS2DVD is all you need to capture, edit and burn to DVD. Where is there a problem?

I have pinnacle studio v15 it would be nice to run it from that program instead of jumping back and forth i think studio has more features in it than what came the roxio one sames realy basic. Thank-You for your advice.

What features are you talking about?

 

Are you talking about using the Roxio USB Capture device with Pinnacle? I don't know if that will work. Have you tried it? Doesn't Pinnacle come with it's own capture device?

 

Comparing VHS2DVD to Pinacle v15 is comparing apples and oranges. VHS2DVD is a cut down version of the full Roxio Creator suite

You will find the Roxio Device works with very few programs outside of Roxio... Just as my $200 AdverMedia capture card will only work with its' software

 

If you want to use another Editing/Authoring software, you will have to retain the Roxio to capture with.

 

If you stay in the Roxio Family, the device will work with all Roxio capture programs from EMC 6 ON Even some of the OEM's that come with PC's or Burners will work with the Device once the drivers are installed

 

Sadly Roxio does not have a Trial version of thier software but do offer a 30 day, no questions asked, refund policy if you purchase from this web site... (i have used other software and Roxio is hard to beat!)
