karri Posted January 25, 2012 Report Share Posted January 25, 2012 Because im not looking to do the exact same thing I just want to do a basic transition that lets me put my name or something on the start of the video View the "Editing Your Game Play Video" Videowave tutorial (first row, third column) on this page Game Capture tutorials, but instead of placing your text on the video clip, you should be able to right click on the first panel and Select "Insert Color Panel" to place a blank colored slide to insert prior to your video clip's start. Then follow the directions they give for placing text, only place it on your blank slide instead of your clip. You can layer text, sound effects, motion backgrounds, overlays, etc., to build a nice intro. Remember to work on the "Internal" panel to keep it all together on the same panel.
