Installation Problem

chefpaulie

Question

I hope someone can help me. I bought a copy of Toast Titanium Pro and registered it. I was able to install Photoshop Elements 9 and other things from the disc but when I tried to install Toast 11 I kept receiving the dialogue "The installer could not validate the contents of the 'toastTitanium' package and the installer would say please contact the vendor. I tried to download the update Toast Titanium 11.0.4 and I could get it to start installing, but since it could not find a copy of Toast 11, it stopped installing. The installer from the disc never asked for a CD key or any type of verification which I though was strange. Any help would be appreciated.

The installer from the Toast 11.0.4 download should have worked and there is no reason it should look for a previous install. There are reported problems with the installer on the disc, though. I suggest restarting the Mac and launching the downloaded installer again. Let me know exactly what the error message is. I'm presuming your Mac meets the system requirements for Toast 11.
