Distortion On Screen

Hey guys

i just got my Roxio game capture device, but i just cant get it to work. The screen was jumping around and really distortet on tv and in the capture program.

I got that fixed temporarily, but then there were some distorted lines on the screen, which kinda looked like a VHS tape.

I tried restarting it, but now the first problem is back.

My friend also has a Roxio game capture card and the same component cable, but it runs fine for him.

I have an HDTV and my PC meets the system requirements.

Maybe you guys can help me

I had a rolling capture screen on my laptop and sorted it by opening capture, selecting options and setting the tv standard from pal 720p/1080i to NTSC_M. Or play about with the other settings one should work. Good luck with it.
