Make sure that turtle beach audio card is set to 16 bit and 14100khz.

Make sure that your operating system's recordording devcie is set to the correct input and that it is not muted.

What operating system do you have?

Not a card Steve,they're headphones.

drake, you should be able to connect the Red,White audio coming out of the Xbox to one side of the Turtle Beach adapter then take another Composite audio cable and use the Red,White to connect to the input side of the Roxio device. Then use the Roxio supplied cable to go from the output of the Device to your TV.

The adapter is the one with Red and White on one end and Green on the other. The Green from the adapter goes to the Green on the headset

That's how mine is and it works just fine.
