hi, the sound is coming through to the laptop but no video?? it also says no signal?

 

Any ideas?

component cable is definitely switched to HD and i've followed the set up instructions?

 

are there any settings on the laptop software, tv or xbox i need to check?

In the Xbox 360 have you got the display settings on Component HD AV cable.

 

HDTV Settings: choose between 480p, 720p, 1080i, or 1080p output resolution, depending on the native resolution of your TV .

 

Screen Format: select Widescreen for 16:9.

my roxio is working now the video is fine but now my tv has no video showing up when i switch it to component any ideas to fix this??

 

Were getting there.....double check....you have a component cable going from the Roxio game capture unit into a component in jack on your TV and have selected THAT input on the TV as your source.

not yet :( - very frustrating!!

 

If the signal is showing on the laptop, the problem can only be the t.v connection, right?

 

Is there anyway I can send you a photo of the connections to the tv so you can comment?

Click on Help (top left on this page)...

When the help page opens, scroll down and click on Postings....then scroll down to Attachements.

 

Or, tell me what Make and model of TV you have and I can probably figure it out .

Thanks for your help but if you cant figure this out do you think there will be any chance of me getting a refund as this could be a total waste of my money? I have misplaced the product key for my roxio to reinstall it to my computer is there anyway i could get the product key sent to me.

Why do want the key to reinstall? please elaborate.

 

Roxio's return policy is 30 days.

I Want to reistall becasue i have removed the software from my computer and ive lost the product key.

I want to know if i can send it back without the product key because that is what i would rather do.
