How Do You Merge Clips In Toast 11 Pro?

Kourosh

Question

I want to merge a couple of video clips, using Toast 11 Pro. I know that I can do it by Quick Time Player but can't believe that a professional software does not have this option! There is an option available in the "Edit" menu of Toast 11, but it is always greyed out even if the clips are of the same format and have been selected! Is there anybody out there who can help? Thanks.

I'm not certain what the format must be for the Merge clips option to be active. It may be only with MPEG 2 videos but maybe it is something else. Basically there is no way to merge video clips using Toast. If making a video DVD you can choose the continuous play option so one clip plays right after another with minimal pause.
