Creator 2012 Pro Installation Fail (Re-Post Forgot Attchmt)

I tried to install this program 9 times and it failed the exact same way every time. I see others had the same problem so with the last install, I followed the tech advise by copying the disc-1 files to my hard drive and using the "run" with "setup.exe DisableProducts=DIVX_PLUS", however, same problem. Very annoyed, please help. See attached log file.

The first and last log file when I look at it fails with "Rolling back Microsoft .Net v3.5 SP1"!

 

Nothing about DIVX.

Most retail shops won't take back opened software.

 

It's a challenge to help someone with that type of attitude!

 

I don't work for Roxio so don't blame them for our miscommunication.

 

Sonic Boom is a Roxio employee and a installation specialist that stops in here often.

 

I would wait for his help but it is the weekend, maybe tomorrow.

Guess you're right, felt like a fool getting preached to by the Best Buy manager that they don't refund or exchange opened software. At least you gave me some direction in your 2nd response. Thank you and sorry for the attitude.
