Cant Play On Xbox Once I Connect Roxio

I have bought a new Roxio Game Capture and so far it has gone well. I have got my setup with all cables connected to the correct places but when I power up xbox and go to the HDMI source where the xbox is connected to I get n error telling me I have "No video available" if anyone can help me please reply.

hdmi is not supported with roxio game capture.. you should be using COMPONENT not hdmi..

It shouldn't be possible to connect both the HD cable adapter and the HDMI cable to the XBox at the same time.When you plug in the adapter that gives you the Component cables out the HDMI port is partially covered making it impossible to have both connected at the same time.

You can plug both the standard cable adapter and an HDMI cable in at the same time (I know,I do) but the Roxio device doesn't work with the standard definition cable adapter.
