Easy Vhs To Dvd Crashes With Blue Screen

I just recently purchased the Easy VHS to DVD software and installed it. When I click the Record DVD button the screen locks and then the blue sreeen of death appears and the PC re-boots. Prior to this purchase I upgraded to Windows 7. I contacted support via e-mail and tried their suggestions so far, but have had no luck. Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution?

Follow the Prep Steps to the letter!

 

Then start to Install the Program, only choose Repair when it is offered.

I performed all of these steps and still get the same blue screen and reboot.
