Why Are Resource People From Roxio So Irritating?

Irritated Extremely

Question

Am currently wrestling with the totally unnecessary problem of installing 2012 into Windows 7 64 bit Professional. Why it couldn't have been reengineered to have a clean install by now is beyond me. Then, the condescending nature of the responses in this forum are extremely irritating, apparently coming from individuals who are associated with Roxio. Do the initials NERO mean anything to you?

Regards

Actually, there are only 2 or 3 people, who post on these forums, who are associated with Roxio, and they have Roxio labeled below their avatars.

Instead of making "extremely irritating" comments about people who volunteer their time to help others, why not state your problem and maybe one of those "irritating" people might consider helping you.

No, the initials NERO mean nothing!

My sincere apologies to those I have offended. My concern is that an unsatisfactory (meaning that it didn't work for me, and as far as I can determine, at least one other correspondent) strategy was posted, and the thread shut down by someone with authority to do so, under the incorrect assumption that the problem was solved. I had no opportunity to continue the thread (which contained some derisive comment about threadjacking)

My irritation spilled over from my extensive interaction with the Roxio Support system. It is non intuitive, is not compatible with Internet Explorer and Outlook as installed on my machine, and is non-responsive other than saying to go back to the beginning.

Further, paying good money for software that has had identifiable problems interacting with Windows for at least five years without putting any noticeable effort into correcting the problem has me questioning my own sanity. I haven't had to use Command Prompt and Event Logs to install home software for over 15 years.

I have use Creator extensively for years, like the software when it works, but it is just too hard to get it to work.

Again, my apologies. I only hope that one of the Roxio readers will pass this generic concern up the food chain.

What is non-intuitive, what is not compatible with internet Explorer? What " identifiable problems interacting with Windows for at least five years"?

Making generic comments without some examples is pretty useless.

Where did you get the idea that C2012 is not compatible with IE? I have no problems at all with IE and as far as I know there there have been no posts about incompatibility.
