Help Building The Intro That I Want

What I'm looking to do seems simple enough, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I'm using Creator 2011 and am in MyDVD getting ready to burn a single 30 min. slideshow. I want to have a single static photo with looping audio and a single button 'arrow' at the beginning. This will be on the screen as my vamp before I start the movie. Obviously, the arrow needs to work as the start button for the movie and not just take me to another opener page. Can anyone walk me through how to accomplish this? I can't find a tutorial specific to this. Thank you.

Easy enough!

 

Create another 'movie' that consists of your slide and the looping music in VideoWave and output it as a Movie. (20 seconds is the preferred length)

 

In MyDVD, create your regular slideshow (button), then right click on the background and Change Background.

 

Use your other 'movie' to replace the default

Thank you so very much! I just didn't think to output it as a video file. Knew if was probably something simple. Along these lines, is there a way to make the audio longer in this background? I tried increasing the length of it in the VideoWave production (so it loops more comfortably) and that didn't make any difference.

Yes...

 

After you add your background movie, you can tinker with the Motion Menu Duration...

 

 

However, as I recall it will not stay put! Any time you save or add something after that it will go back to its' default 20 seconds.

 

Keep in mind ALL Commercial Movies use 20 seconds! Maybe it is better to adapt to the industry standard rather than fight it

 

Also keep in mind, people are there to watch your SLIDESHOW! Not listen to your clever intro and music ;)

 

The music provided in SmartSound® works well when looped

It is a flash video so it may take a couple of minutes to load. It is silent. It is for an earlier version but I think it is the same process.
