Toast 10 & Tivo Premiere

Since I upgraded to Tivo premiere, Tivo Desktop & Transfer have not worked. Transfer opens, but can't connect to or open the DVR library. Had been running Toast 8 on Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)until upgrading the box with few problems. Tivo support has no clue. If I upgrade to Toast 10 or 11 will that solve my issue? Don't wanna buy an app unless it will do what I want. I don't particularly care about burning anything,just want to get my tivo recordings onto my iPad and/or Mac for viewing. If it weren't an election year, I'd bag my Tivo subscription altogether.

Yes, upgrade to Toast 11 and it includes a version of TiVo Transfer that works with the Premiere models. If you buy as a download from Roxio there is a 30-day refund policy if for some reason you decide it isn't meeting your needs. I use TiVo Transfer from Toast 11 with my TiVo Premiere. I don't recall when Roxio updated TiVo Transfer to work with the Premiere but am certain it was later than Toast 8.
