showcroft
I have successfully copied VHS tapes to DVD but I have a few mpg clips on my hard drive. I did the import and it copied the video fine but there was no sound I play the clip from Windows 7 explorer and it plays fine. No sound on the preview from Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus either. There are some mpeg / Mp4 videos the audio doesn't work when transferred into Easy VHS to DVD. I've ran into it my self, what file extension are you trying? A work around is run it through a converter.
showcroft
It originally had an AVI extension. Since that didn't appear to be an option for import I ran it through the "Any video converter" to make it a mpg extension? Which didn't work, can you recommend a different converter or is the original AVI the problem. It plays on my TV when I select "play to" on my PC windows explorer. Import VideoImport pre-recorded videos from the hard disk. Video must be in MPEG2 format. Question: I have videos in other formats such as WMV, DV-AVI, etc. How can I import them into Easy VHS to DVD? Answer: You may want to use a product such as Roxio Creator, which lets you convert your videos into MPEG2 (DVD) format. You can then import them easily into Easy VHS to DVD. Roxio Creator is available at www.roxio.com.
