Interface Error -16434

I just tried burning a dvd I have that I wanted to have a back up copy of. When I tried burning it I got this message on my MAC "Interface Error -16434"

Any idea what this means? I am running the latest software for Toast 11 and all my software is up to date for Lion on mac Any help would be great

It's hard to know what may be the reason for that error. Are you burning a data disc or a video disc? Which setting are you using in Toast? Something to try is choosing Save as Disc Image from the File menu and then burning the resulting .toast file using the Image File setting in the Copy window. You also might try a different brand of DVD media. It may be that the optical drive's firmware isn't well suited for that particular brand.
