Bought my device about a month ago now. I thought things were going great until I realised the issue I have with the audio when I played my recordings back. It was picking up everything going on around the TV i.e. me coughing, controller noises etc. I checked the options, went to Audio Input and noticed that it was using the Internal Microphone on my laptop to record the audio. This is a very annoying problem as I have seen many a video by many people using the same device and the audio is coming straight from the TV, no outside noise interference whatsoever.
Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue? Is it to do with the component cable I bought or am I doing something completely wrong?
I will link you the video I uploaded to youtube. It was just a capture test. Its just so whoever sees the post can see what I am on about.
