Creator 2011 Installation Failure

After a computer crash and re-install of the operating system (Windows 7 64 bit) I am trying to reinstall Creator 2011. I downloaded the two files to my hard drive (Roxio2011Content and RoxioCreator2011). I then attempted to open RoxioCreator2011. If used Winzip self extractor to extract the files but failed with the following error:

 

ZIP damaged: file

c:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Temp|RoxioCreator2011_JA08NXDOR13\EMC_130|Data1.cab: Bad CRC. Possible cause: file transfer error

 

Has anyone seen this error before and can suggest a solution?

 

I have attempted to re-download the files 3 times with the same issue when attempting the install. Is it really problem with the files I downloaded or could it be something else?

This is a new download? Not the one from before the crash you used and it installed correct?

Correct. This a new download and installation. I lost everything on the hard Drive after the computer crash. So new installation of the OS then new installation of Microsoft Office and other programs. When I originally purchased Creator 2011 it was via online download, no CDs. So after the computer crash I had to re-download the Creator Files and I am re-attempting to install for the first time since the computer crash.

The first thing to do after any download is to archive the download either to a DVD or to an external drive. You will have to get in touch with Customer Service, perhaps they will send you the boxed version.
