Adding Subtitles

jgeeraerts

Question

Ok, if somebody can point me to a link that answeres this question then thank you, and I apologize for asking something obvious, BUT I've searched eveywhere for an answer. How do I take an avi file and add an .srt file to it and produce subtitles overlayed on the finished product. If I have to convert the srt or the avi file to something different that is ok. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Oh I have creator pro 2012.

THANKS. "Any Video Converter" did the trick. I haven't made a dvd yet, but I played it on my computer and all the subtitles were overlayed on the video. The program is pretty self explanatory and easy to use AND fast. Under the audio options you need to scroll down to subtitles and then add the subtitle file. You also can change fonts, color, location etc of the subtitles. If you want a quick crib sheet for how to do it go to this website

http://www.any-video-converter.com/add-srt-subtitle-to-output-video.php

Once again thanks for the help.

Jerry
