Itunes Broke My Audiobook Creator

L0ng5h0t

Question

Here's hoping I'm posting in the correct forum for this. I just updated my iTunes to its latest version, and now when I use the Audiobook Creator program, iTunes is no longer listed as an output option. Is there a way I can work around this and still create an audiobook in iTunes format? I can manually import the files into iTunes.

Thanks

Itunes broke it; they should fix it. Did you posat to their users group or contact them?

You can try to repair Creator. Put the disc back into the drive and then when the option come sup, select to do a repair. Remember to turn off your anti-virus for this.

If that doesn't help and you get no help from Apple, then you may have to remove the program and reinsall it. No promises that a reinsatll will fix the problem.

I just checked on this as I had not updated my iTunes and see no difference!

Before update:

After update:

(of course there was a required reboot after the update was installed ;) )

Well, that's a little depressing. The iTunes upgrade was the only thing that changed on my PC. I have tried repairing my Roxio installation and reinstalling iTunes with no luck. Looks like I've got to start digging deeper.
